Leaving the Past Behind
Reading: Philippians 3:12-14, Isaiah 43:18-19
Moses had a checkered past, including murder, but God used him mightily. The sermon reminded us that "our past is not nearly as important as our future." God's grace offers us a fresh start, regardless of our history. What parts of your past are you allowing to hold you back? Spend time in prayer, releasing these to God and asking Him to help you embrace the new future He has for you. How can you live today in light of God's transforming grace?
